The UK’s £1.1 Billion AI Investment: What It Means for British Businesses

Another key aspect of the strategy is talent development. The plan includes £45 million of additional funding to support training programmes, doctoral research, and undergraduate bursaries in areas such as chip design, engineering and AI hardware development. The aim is to create a pipeline of skilled professionals capable of supporting the UK’s AI ambitions for years to come.
